Xavier’s composition《夔》(Kuí) has been selected for performance at the finals of the 13th Rivers Awards (百川奖) which will take place at the He Lüting Concert Hall on November 22 at 19:30. His eight minute composition for erhu, pipa, piano, violin, viola, violoncello and contrabass will be performed by Ensemble l’Itinéraire and two students currently studying at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
